Palmar

Palmar is a lovely hamlet just 8 km (5 miles) out of the centre, standing at an altitude of between 300 m and 500 m (985 to 1,640 ft). Its 800 inhabitants live in a landscape that is dotted with traditional houses and stone farm terraces. Setting off from here is a network of trails of great scenic and ethnographic value.
