La Alhóndiga and El Calvario

The corn exchange in Tacoronte was built in the 17th century as a public granary. It now hosts all kinds of cultural events, especially farming-related events. Opposite the corn exchange is El Calvario, a 17th century building that was used as a resting station or half-way point during Holy Week processions.
