As you enter the La Laguna Gran Hotel from the Calle del Agua (Nava y
Grimón), you will be met by the scent of resin and cedar. The heartwood
from ancient Canarian pine trees still distils its resin throughout this
old building that has seen four centuries of history.
San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a World Heritage city, writes a new page on
this ancient building, re-imagined in a modern-day concept.
The new hotel has 123 rooms, convention and banqueting rooms with capacity
for up to 600 people, and a car park for 80 vehicles. The “Gran Laguna”
restaurant and terrace and the “Del Agua” pool, spa and gym complex will be
open to the public.
From the roof of the building and its sports area, you can enjoy an
extensive and spectacular view over the rooftops of the city and the
mountains of the Anaga Nature Reserve.
