La Casa Animada is a producer of 2D animation that was set up in the borough of Tegueste on Tenerife in 2005, with the aim of contributing to creating a sustainable animation industry in the Canary Islands. Since the beginning, it has carried out development and production of its own projects while at the same time training professionals.
It is the creator of the 2D animation series ‘Cleo’, broadcast in Spain and elsewhere the first season of which obtained prizes for the best children's series at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film and the best international children's/adolescents' production at the Sao Paulo International TV Festival. The second season of "Cleo" has been coproduced with RTVE.

2006-2011: Development and teaching of the educational project, ‘Canarias Animada 2006-2011’, driving force for the creation of a sustainable and top-quality industrial fabric in animation in the Canaries.Conduct of international animation and merging services for the German ‘Tigerentenbande’ series and the Canadian ‘Poppets Town’. 2011-2015: Development and production of the children's omnibus on Canarian Television ‘El Club de Archi’2013: Production of the animated short "La Trompeta", by Andrés Nieves, which has won a number of Spanish and foreign prizes. 2013-2015: Development and production of the first series of the 2D animation series ‘Cleo’. It was first broadcast in February 2015 on ClanTV and was very well received. After its success on the Spanish market, ‘Cleo’ went on to foreign channels such as Disney (Asia); JimJam Channel (Benelux and Poland) and Portuguese Public Television, RTP. During 2015 and 2016 it was purchased by VOD platforms in Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, Africa and the UK, among others.2016-2017: In January 2016, La Casa Animada began the development and production of the second season of ‘Cleo’, on this occasion co-produced by RTVE. The series was first broadcast on ClanTV in January 2018 repeating the good audience figures from the first season. Between September and December 2016, La Casa Animada, while producing the series, also gave the Course entitled ‘Especialización en animación 2D’ for the Scientific and Technological Park of the Tenerife Island Government or Cabildo.2017- 2018: Development of two new 2D animated projects; the short, ‘La historia de Lila’ and the series ‘El libro de los sueños’. In 2018, the development began of the third season of ‘Cleo’. Development of the animated section of the documentary, ‘El último arquero’.
