This stretch of precipitous cliffs is home to a considerable population of unusual plant species that thrive in high temperatures. Also noteworthy are the populations of turpentine trees and bloodwoods. Ironworts and cabezones are two other common species of flora here. This spot offers you stunning views over the surrounding area.

How to get there:

You will have to come from Los Silos, along the TF-42. As you exit Los Silos, towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife take the first right turn, about 700 m (765 yards) from the Town Hall. This leads you onto a road towards Tierra del Trigo, which links up to the TF-423. Some 800 m (875 yards) from that turn-off is the Protected Nature Area, which the road zig-zags all the way across.
