Arona 1 - Casas de Altavista Circular Trail

Technical information

Trail description

The trail starts at Plaza del Cristo de la Salud, right in the heart of Arona, by the church of San Antonio Abad and the Town Hall. Take Calle El Calvario and, as soon as you pass the football pitch, take the path to the left which runs parallel to an old canal for most of the way, until you come to the paved street of Camino de Las Hoyas, and turn right along it. Follow this street until it bends to the right. Before turning the bend, step off it to join the upward earth track you will see opposite you. The track will lead you onto another paved street, which means you will have reached Casas de Altavista. At that point, take the street to your left up to the crossing with Calle San Antonio. This is where the descent begins, back down to Plaza del Cristo.
