A spectacular house with the clear stately atmosphere of Canarian architecture from the early 20th century, built as part of a terrace of houses and located in the centre of Los Realejos in the north of Tenerife. It is located right in the centre of the shopping area of San Agustín, Los Realejos, and is only five minutes away from the tourist town of Puerto de la Cruz.
The façade is made up of wide French windows which give the interior spaces great luminosity, with protected balconies with ornamental ironwork balustrades. The building plot has a surface area of 292 square metres and the building has an overall floorplan of 745 square metres spread over three floors.
All the rooms have direct natural light from the main street where the building is located. There is parquet flooring and the tiles are the hand-painted originals. The woodwork of the doors and windows is also original.
It has been declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (property of cultural interest) in the category of monuments, and originally housed the textile warehouse of William Whiteley Ltd., a successful English company from the late 19th and the early 20th century.
