St Peter’s Festival at El Sauzal 2022

In June, the town of El Sauzal pays tribute to St Peter, in a festival packed with musical, cultural and sporting activities.

Usually held in June or July, St Peter’s Festival has been gaining popularity since the 1960s, when it added pop music concerts, theatrical shows and film events. During the transition to democracy, the Festival was revived with the support of the town authorities. Today, the Festival’s non-religious highlights are the galas and the concerts by Spanish and international musical artists.
