St Roch and St Augustine’s Festival 2022

On 28 August, Vilaflor de Chasna is paying tribute to its patron saints, St Augustine and St Roch, in a major religious and cultural festival. The square of San Pedro will be the nerve centre of the celebrations, filled with music and joy.

On Saturday before the Festival there is a Traditional Ball, also known as Baile de Magos, with locals wearing folk costumes and sharing the best dishes from the Canary Islands. Activities, both religious and popular, begin on the following Friday. They include and Arts and Crafts Market. The procession is on Sunday 28, filling the streets with traditional music and carriages carrying artisan foods and wines.
