Javier Alemán directs this intense and profound play that tells the story of Oscar, a teacher going through an emotional crisis after being assaulted by a pupil and who does not want to go back to teaching. However, one of his former teachers persuades him to give private classes to a very peculiar student, whose mother lives in a world she has built for herself as a refuge from the unbearable reality triggered by a horrific event. The play’s author, film and TV scriptwriter David Desola, emerged on the theatre scene with very topical texts that have made him one of the most interesting young playwrights. He has received a number of awards including the Premio Lope de Vega 2007, Premio Antonio Machado and Premio Marqués de Bradomín (1999).
