Las Burras de Güímar 2022

The most significant of all Carnival activities in Güímar is coming back in 2022, but only as an exhibition at La Cochera Exhibition Hall, in Fonda Medina.

The celebration known as Las Burras combines a series of local legends and traditions, recovered by the younger generations over two decades ago. It consists of an imaginative re-enactment of the archetypal battle between good and evil, enhanced with special effects. Hundreds of locals are part of the preparations and the action itself.
