Women World Fest in Costa Adeje

The Women World Fest will be the first music festival in Spain – and one of the few in the world – aimed at contributing to the visibility of women in a variety of fields while getting the whole of society involved. It is a festival for equality in music, literature, film, culture and sustainability, among other areas.

According to the Women and Music Association, the participation of women in music festivals is still very low at the global level. In an attempt to redress the balance, the Festival will feature only women artists in its 1^st edition. In the future, it will be open to male artists as well, in line with its commitment to equality in society. The line-up for this year includes Mala Rodríguez, Mon Laferte, Guitarricadelafuente, Silvana Estrada, María José Llergo, Caracoles and DJ Kali.
