Prats and Romantic Music

As part of its Chamber Music Cycle, the Tenerife Auditorium is offering a piano recital by Cuban pianist Jorge Luis Prats. Prats is a genuine piano virtuoso, one of today’s most brilliant musicians. He has been on tour in Europe, Latin America and Asia and has performed with some of the world’s leading orchestras, such as the London-based Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

In this concert, Prats will offer a repertoire focusing on two of the greatest Romantic piano composers: Robert Schumann and Frédéric Chopin. The concert will end with Maurice Ravel’s piano arrangement of his choreographic poem for orchestra La valse.
