Our Lady of Hope’s Festival and Procession 2022

On the first Sunday of August, Tenerife celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Hope, an event offering something for everyone. Religious celebrations begin with the Holy Mass at 11am, followed by a procession carrying Our Lady of Hope, accompanied by the offerings from local associations and devotees.

The image of the Virgin Mary is carried under an arch of flowers to the City Hall Square (Plaza del Ayuntamiento). The street party takes place in the evening and goes on into the wee hours, coming to a close with fireworks.
