On 9 July, Santiago del Teide is playing host to the 25th Open Water Swim, starting on La Arena Beach and finishing in Puerto de Santiago.
On the whole, the swim – open to 300 participants – covers 950 metres. The swim course will be punctuated by kayaks and boats. In addition, there will be a lead boat and a sweeper. Swimmers must be at least ten years old, and they do not need to be Swimming Federation members.
