Spring temperatures

Is is always springtime in Tenerife.

Tenerife is a pleasure to visit all year round. This is largely thanks to its average annual temperature of 23 ºC (73 ºF), due to its proximity to the Tropic of Cancer offset by Canary Cold Currents and the cooling trade winds. All of this comes together to create a pleasantly mild climate in which to enjoy Tenerife's countryside, sun, sea, gastronomy and historical heritage 365 days a year. It is amazing how many different microclimates you can experience in Tenerife in the same day depending on the area of the Island you are in. While the south is drier and has longer daylight hours, the north affords milder temperatures and greater humidity in its mountain areas. By contrast, the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna records significantly lower temperatures than the rest of the Island, whilst El Teide National Park has typical mountain weather thanks to its peak altitude of 3,718 m (12,198 ft).
