Valle de Güimar

Whites are the stars of the Valle de Güímar Designation of Origin, accounting for 80% of the area's wine-making produce. They have pale yellow and straw hues, with a fresh and fruity taste. On the nose, these white wines are typically of medium intensity, with hints of fruit and cut grass.

The area's rosés are popular thanks to their red berry bouquet, while its reds are known for their earthy touches. Variants include the area's sweet wine with hints of honey; sparkling wines with very delicate bubbles, a long-lasting mousse and acid notes; and fizzy wines with hints of nuts and mild spiciness.

The region of Güímar is located in southern Tenerife, where top quality white grapes are planted on the hillsides.
