The Esquina de los Carros Mansion

This large house on Calle de la Libertad, located on the corner of Los Carros, is an example of Canarian country architecture. Here lived Secundino Delgado, a renowned journalist, writer and supporter of Canarian independence. The house has two storeys, an Arabic-style hip roof, a balcony and an outer staircase leading straight to the second floor. In 2006 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and is classed as a Historic Site.
