The Arona Copperwood (a Tree Monument)

Arona's historic quarter is home to a copperwood tree dating back hundreds of years, reaching a height of about 9 m (29 ft), which is listed in Tenerife's book of Monumental Trees. The tree is shown on the municipal coat of arms and is part of its cultural heritage.
