Casa Lercaro en La Orotava

Artesania en Tenerife Norte

Right in the heart of the historical centre of La Orotava, Casa Lercaro is a noble seventeenth-century mansion which has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest in the category of historical monuments.

This emblematic house stands out for its magnificent architecture, its spectacular courtyards, gardens and balconies. Its beauty leads many film producers and advertising agencies to use it as their set.

In the lower courtyard is the water-driven mill and the gofio mill, a vestige of the initial moments of the first Spanish settlements on the island —the sixteenth century—. This is the last mill in the town, through which the water channel from the springs of La Orotava ran.

Delicious Canarian gastronomy for the palate

The restaurant, serving Canarian and Mediterranean food, is located in the courtyard of the house. It offers spectacular views of the Valley, Mount Teide and the sea, and is one of the most charming places in La Orotava. A perfect place to relax while enjoying a superb local wine and a varied menu of Canarian dishes: honey, mojo sauces, cheese, potatoes...

Quality and distinction in decorative elements and gifts

Finally, the shop offers quality and distinction to all those who wish to buy items for decoration or gifts with which to take home a splendid memento of your stay on the Island.
