Protected Landscape

This landscape will surprise you with its variety of species, some endangered, making it a place of significant scientific and geological significance. It is largely populated by typical rock-dwelling species. You will see wild euphorbia giving way to chestnut and eucalyptus trees as you gain height. Pino Alto rises above the rest of the area, which is home to just over 200 inhabitants.

In terms of fauna, the area is inhabited by the typical Bolle's pigeons and laurel pigeons. It is also not uncommon to find sparrow hawks here.
