Restaurante Sabor Canario

Located in one of the oldest buildings in the historical district of La Orotava, this restaurant offers a family atmosphere and individual treatment, so you get an ideal combination to enjoy a good lunch or dinner.

The island's cuisine occupies a special position here, with tastings of traditional Canarian cooking and the wines of the Orotava Valley. The reputation of the restaurant has been recognised over a number of years with the national “Plato de Oro a la Gastronomía Canaria” award, which has the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

This is an ideal place to try the set menu or for celebrations and company dinners, where you can choose from the delicious dishes on the varied menu. There are spaces with different capacities (the restaurant can hold over two hundred diners) which are adapted to the needs of the customer, from the main dining-room with space for ninety to the "stable" for sixty-four or the "tasca" for thirty-five. There is also the charming "bodega" for seventeen diners.

The experience is completed with the possibility of having a pleasant stay at the Hotel Rural Orotava, which is located on the second floor of the building, or of buying pieces of superb craftwork in the shop.
