Bodegas Monje

In the area of El Sauzal, 500 metres above sea level, you will find our vineyard standing on rocky ground complete with dry lava (fruit from the nearby volcano), which over time, has become very rich. Although the wine cellars were built in 1983, the family tradition of these Monje Wine cellars date back to 1750. It still offers the antique traditions from where we continue to ferment and create the traditional red wine combining some of the oldest methods with modern technology  

The interior of the wine cellar has a corner especially for groups with the capacity for 100 people (seated) and room for another 50 guests cocktail style. We organize all types of celebrations, banquets, presentations on our products, business meetings, debates, conference, allowing the ideal, original and peaceful location for your desired event.

Participants will be able to visit the wine cellars and vineyards and they can also partake in sampling some of our oldest authentic Canarian dishes. Our wines display attractive colours, fruity mineral aromas in all their splendour which are full of life, just like the earth from where they are born.

All our labels are counted and are of limited edition, named exclusively from the origins of Tacoronte-Acentejo, which controls its production and bottling. The label guarantees its origin and quality.
