Welcome to the beach

Rincón de la Luz is home to some of the Island's loveliest beaches. Most of them are made of bright golden sand that was formed over thousands of years as the ocean's waves pounded against the area's volcanic pumice cliffs, eroding their cliff faces.

Many of these golden beaches are hundreds of metres long. They are worthy of a picture postcard, attracting many beach fans to spend days on end lying under the warm rays of the sun and taking a dip every now and then. This might seem like a waste of time to you but it really is a great idea. You will be giving yourself the gift of peace and relaxation and learning to enjoy life to the full without doing anything.
