As part of this international event of the sector, held in London between 10 and 11 December, the Tenerife production companies Film Canary Islands and Niru Films, both of which are affiliated with the Tenerife Film Commission, organised the talk ‘50% Tax Rebate in the Canaries: Explained by Producers, for Producers’.
The talk served to highlight the competitive advantages of the Canary Islands, including its favourable tax regime and the variety of unique natural locations. After the presentation, time was allotted to answer questions from the attendees, which made it possible to delve into specific topics and generate interest in future projects in the region.
The presence at the event of Boudika Productions, Palma Pictures, Canary Productions, Film Canary Islands and Solworks and Niru Films, among other Canarian companies, was key to strengthening ties with production companies and firms interested in all the benefits that the Canary Islands offer as a filming destination. Proexca and the Canary Islands Audiovisual Cluster organised a direct mission for several Canarian production companies to attend Focus London 2025.
