2024 was an intense year for Tomavision. These are some highlights from the work and collaborations by the Tenerife studio from 2024 or that have been announced for 2025:

  • The production company closes 2024 with the premiere of ‘Caterella’, the first film in the Furry Tales saga, made in 3D for Norway’s Storm Films. It was a “100% Tomavision” production, from design to final render.
  • International collaboration: after almost two years of collaboration with the Canadian production company Pipeline Studios, in 2024 ‘Lyla in the loop’ (80 x 11′) and the second season of ‘Alma’s Way’ (50 x 11′), both 2D animation productions at TB Harmony in which the Tomavision team jointly participated with the Pipeline teams, had a highly successful premiere on the US television network PBS. Tomavision, again through Pipeline Studios, was involved in the reboot of the iconic ‘Dora the Explorer’ (80 x 11′), now for the first time in 3D on Nickelodeon. The Tomavision team has collaborated in the creation of storylines, has done the lighting in all the episodes and has animated half of them.
  • The series ‘The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy’, in whose second season Tomavision had the opportunity to work on 3 episodes, has been included in the New York Times list of productions that have best represented personal issues such as anxiety or depression in 2024. The announcement of the release date on Amazon Prime is pending.
  • On 28 February, the Warner Bros. film ‘The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie’ will be released in theatres. Tomavision Studio offered its Clean Up and Colour services in several minutes of this feature film.
  • In 2025, Tomavision will offer various practical workshops focused on 2D and 3D animation for students and professionals in the sector. The goal is to create high-impact portfolios and demo-reels.
