From Tenerife, Tomavision Studio continues to strengthen its presence in the international animation scene, taking part in exciting productions and collaborating with world-class partners.

The studio recently completed its work on ‘Tangles’, a traditionally animated feature film based on the graphic novel ‘Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother and Me by Canadian’ author Sarah Leavitt. This heartfelt adult “dramedy,” produced by Giant Ant (Canada), Point Grey Pictures, Lylas Pictures and Monarch Media (USA), featured Tomavision’s artistry across the Clean Up, Ink & Paint, and Animation departments.
Tomavision is also co-developing ‘Las Dos Fridas’, an animated feature inspired by the life and artistic universe of Frida Kahlo, directed by Paloma Baeza and produced by London-based Lupus Films. The project has received development support from the Cabildo de Tenerife.
Meanwhile, the studio is also currently working on a new 2D animated series for children, in collaboration with an international production company. In this project, Tomavision offers rigging and animation services, exploring new visual storytelling approaches while showcasing the studio’s technical and creative versatility.
These projects -and more currently underway- reflect Tomavision’s ongoing passion for creative collaboration and meaningful storytelling — bringing animation from the Canary Islands to the world.
