We have openings in our schedule to meet with you in Berlin on November 8 and 9 at the advertising film event Ciclope Festival.
The film commission always explores new opportunities to promote the many and varied advantages that the Island offers to develop audio-visual projects.
The wonderfully warm climate of Tenerife makes it a year-round stage for filming and advertising photo shoots. A large array of producers and audio-visual equipment rental companies ensure shooting in an incredible variety of locations. In under an hour, you can travel from a desert to lush jungle, for example.
It now offers a new all-terrain vehicle for on-set vacuuming and cleaning
Location One Islas Canarias continues to grow. Thanks to their fleet of 4×4 vehicles, they can reach the most unusual places. These vehicles can now carry the most appropriate equipment for on-set vacuuming and cleaning. This unit is perfect for emptying honeywagons, Portaloo toilets, motorhomes or artist trailers on location.
The camera rental company offers state-of-the–art equipment
EPC can be proud of being one of the veteran camera hire companies. It offers excellent services and filming equipment including cutting edge technology like RED WEAPON HELIUM 8K.
We work in a sector that is constantly evolving and changing because of the demands in the projects created by thousands of people. Every single project is unique and so they each demand a new approach. In these requirements EPC has found their reason for growing, improving and keeping ahead of this evolution, overcoming every single problem thanks to their technical team and their up-to-date products.
WEAPON offers incredible image resolution and quality to make every project come alive. RED has gone a step further with this product, which enhances flexibility and beauty, offering up to 17 times higher resolution than HD and 4 times that of 4K.
The Canaries has proven to be an emerging source of creativity for filmmakers across the globe. Gifted with volcanic landscapes, forests and beaches, the Fortunate Islands are a dream come true.
EPC, based in Tenerife and Lanzarote, can not only meet the requirements of each professional but they can also tackle the needs of every location with accessories like the splashbag. Built with a double layer of PVC, the splashbag is ideal to shoot on the beach and it can move at a depth of up to 10 metres.
The visual aspect of a film is everything. A project might spend moths in pre-production before shooting starts. At that stage, the general look of the image is decided. A camera is not enough to achieve this vision. Among the most important tools in camera equipment are the lenses. It is necessary to choose the right lenses for each film.
EPC has no competitors in this field, as they have a wide range of lenses including Cooke S7i, which shoots in full frame and beyond. The new Cooke S7i T2:0 Full Frame have been designed to cover the demands of full frame sensors up to an 8K area. Superb mechanic and optical performance. Control of flares, distortions and spherical aberrations in the largest apertures.
Those who seek to innovate and a different look will also find a solution at EPC with their SF Cooke anamorphic series, including the new Cooke sf 135mm. All the features cinematographers demand today, are covered by the Cooke SF. SF stands for Special Flare because they take flares, aberrations and bokeh to new visual domains. The anamorphic 135mm SF corrects side and longitudinal colour aberrations, granting unmatchable shape, form and soul to the area of the image.
Movement matters. A sudden vibrant movement usually produces negative, frantic emotions. In contrast, a smooth steady camera movement gives a feeling of peace.
For the latter, EPC has a MoVI Pro, one of the most advanced camera movement systems thanks to its versatility, efficiency and intelligence.
But this is not all at EPC. There are no small roles in projects and EPC covers the whole camera department. The video assistance is vitally important so the best equipment must be offered to view the scenes.
Oddissey 7Q+ with hand-held system and adaptor for v-mountbatteries, has been tested in film productions, documentaries, TV and other types of shoot. It is ideal for the most demanding productions and the most keen-sighted DoPs. Blackmagic Video Assist 4k, also has a hand-held system and v-mountbattery adaptor.
The Blackmagic Video Assist monitor offers the possibility of recording and supervising images taken with all types of cameras. It includes a touch screen and tools to make it easier to control exposure, set focus and framing.

Tenerife Film Commission has launched its new video. The main character, a producer, will enjoy the island and check all the opportunities to shoot on it. Its unbeatable 35% tax rebate, 23ºC average temperature, its stunning variety of landscapes and experienced crew will convinced him to decide Where to shoot.
We shall attend the specialist meetings, Kidscreen Summit and Cartoon Movie
Over the last few years, Tenerife has been taking its place in the international panorama as one of the locations to bear very much in mind for animation projects thanks to the conditions and characteristics which make it unique. To the attractive fiscal advantages that it offers, with incentives of between 35 and 40 per cent for investment in the film or series, must be added the possibility of paying Corporation Tax at four per cent , as well as the fact that Tenerife has professionals, talent and cutting-edge tools for rendering such as the Teide HPC Supercomputer, the second most powerful in Spain.
There are few places in the world that can combine all these benefits. The excellent air connections with approximately 150 destinations in Europe, America and Africa; the well-known values as a holiday destination, with an exceptional climate 365 days a year, together with top-level infrastructure, make up a very attractive option. In short, the Island is an ideal location for animation projects in an environment which is professional and relaxing at one and the same time.
We will be able to tell you in detail about all these opportunities at Kidscreen Summit, Miami, from 13th to 16th February, and at Cartoon Movie in Bordeaux (France), between 8th and 10th March. To make an appointment:
T-Lab, Blackout Films and Salero Animation Studio, the new additions
We are starting this year with new firms at Tenerife Film Commission and we are promoting two new categories: animation and post-production. In animation, the new company is Salero Animation Studio. In post-production, since the middle of last year there has been T-Lab, and now Blackout Films.
