San Miguel Film Office

San Miguel de Abona is home to landscapes that echo with stories past and present.

Its great variety of landscapes includes the Cho Pancho Recreational Park, with its small pine forest. Walk through the historic centre (listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest), pass by the church and the traditional urban architecture that lines the streets until you reach the Casa de El Capitán Museum, which takes us back to another era. We also should not overlook El Caserío de La Hoya, one of the first population centres and an old aboriginal settlement, under the watchful eye of the Roque de Jama Natural Monument. And on the coast, we find the Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf courses, the seaside, the San Blas Environmental Reserve, the Marina Amarilla docking point and the emblematic Charco de Archiles, until we reach the Montaña Amarilla Natural Monument, a divine place with one of the most important seabeds in the Canary Islands.

San Miguel de Abona has been the site of countless shootings and advertising spots, including the series ‘Brava’, ‘The Gold’, ‘The Crossroads’, ‘Physics and Chemistry, the New Generation’, ‘The Rings of Power’, ‘A Place in the Sun’, ‘Crossfire’, and the spots ‘Kross’, ‘Cotton Traders’, ‘Fred Olsen’, ‘Dosenbach’, ‘Heine Spring’ and ‘Interwell’.
