Iberseries, Weird, Mipcom, Shooting Locations Market Place, Islabentura and Ciclope, Tenerife Film Commission’s upcoming engagements
To learn more about the local film industry and the and the 45-50% tax incentives, personal appointments may be arranged with TFC at any of these events connected with TV series, animation and advertising
Tenerife Film Commission (TFC) is in the closing quarter of 2022 embarking on a grand tour to continue explaining the extensive professional structure that the island boasts, alongside the tax incentives, of between 45% and 50%, available to companies that choose to film on the island.
The first stop will be at the second edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, to be held from 27 to 30 September in Matadero, Madrid, with the main focus on TV series.
TFC will form part of the standard of Canary Islands Film, which has organised two events: on 28 September, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., a gathering of producers from Latin America and the Canaries, followed by a drinks reception; and on 29 September, an event to present Canary Islands Film and the Islabentura Canarias script laboratory.
The tour will continue on 30 September and 1 October at Weird, the European market for animation, video games and new media in general, and specifically in Spanish, to be held in Valencia. 3 Doubles Producciones, Tomavision, Mondo TV Studios and Carlosroca.info will all be there, representing the animation industry based in Tenerife.
In October, TFC is heading to Mipcom from 17 to 20 October. The gathering will take place in Cannes, France. The Tenerife Film Commission will be on the Canary Islands Film desk at the Audiovisual from Spain stand (R7.J11). Followed by Shooting Locations Marketplace from 20 to 21 October to present the diverse landscapes and location types to Spanish and international producers and location scouts attending this second edition of the event.
In October, the Film Commission will be involved at the pitch session and awards ceremony of the Islabentura script laboratory, to be held in Gran Canaria on 29 and 30 October. Lastly, we will be attending the advertising film event Ciclope Festival, staged in Berlin from 8 to 10 November.
