28th Ports of Tenerife Special Christmas Concert

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Port Authority is organising its traditional Christmas concert, to be held at Los Llanos Dock on 25 December, featuring the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra with conductor Víctor Pablo Pérez.

The audience will be delighted by the voices of Alicia Amo, soprano; Airam Hernández, tenor; Ana Ibarra, mezzo-soprano; and Fernando Campero, baritone. The orchestra will be accompanied by the Reyes Bartlet Choir, with José Híjar Polo as choirmaster. This year’s programme includes Handel’s Messiah, Myroslav Skoryk’s Melody (Tribute to Ukraine) and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor.

In addition, there will be Christmas classics such as “White Christmas”, by Irving Berlin, Johann Strauss’s Radetzky March, and Christmas carols like “Una sobre el mismo mar”, by Benito Cabrera.
