The 6th Vuelta al Teide – a long-distance cyclosportive that has become a must on the sporting calendar of the Canary Islands – is being held on 6 May. The full course comprises 175 kilometres, with a 4400-metre elevation gain. The race starts and finishes in Puerto de la Cruz.
A half-race version is also available: Media Vuelta al Teide, covering 95 kilometres with a 2000-metre elevation gain. In this case, the start line will be in Santiago del Teide, whereas the finish line will be in Puerto de la Cruz.
