Boreal Festival is back for its 16th edition, with a programme packed with activities taking place in the old town in Los Silos, in the north-east of the island of Tenerife. Drawing attention to the world’s art cultures while promoting sustainability, Boreal has received the Fest Award for Gender Equality and Diversity – an award given to the best Spanish music festivals in different categories.
The festival’s line-up includes local, Spanish and international artists, as well as new musical projects from the Canary Islands. In 2023, Boreal will offer shows by Natacha Atlas (Belgium), Gaye Su Akyol (Turkey), Sara Hebe (Argentina), Vieux Farka Touré (Mali) and Sara Socas (Spain), among others.
