Conca Collection: Four Decades of Art in the Canary Islands

The LM Arte Colección Museum in San Cristóbal de La Laguna is showing a selection of works from the historical collection of Sala Conca, owned by Gonzalo Díaz.

The exhibition gives an overview of Canarian art in the 1970s and 1980s, two decades of great changes in contemporary and modern art. Sala Conca is an art gallery that has played a fundamental role in the development of contemporary art in the Canary Islands. Established in La Laguna in 1971 by Gonzalo Díaz, it has always been an experimental venue welcoming young artists.
