Isla Calavera Festival 2023

Isla Calavera, the Fantasy Film Festival of the Canary Islands/Ciudad de La Laguna, is coming back for its 7^th iteration, to unfold from 10 to 19 November. This year, the festival dedicated to the fantasy genre will pay tribute to the monster film King Kong on the occasion of its 90^th anniversary. Released in 1933, King Kong tells the story of a giant ape dubbed Kong, captured from Skull Island, which attempts to possess a beautiful young woman.

Isla Calavera shows the latest trends in fantasy film, exploring a variety of themes, styles and perspectives with star guests from Spain and other countries.
