The musical based on The Time in Between – the best-seller written by María Dueñas – is coming to the Leal Theatre in San Cristóbal de La Laguna in December. There will be performances from Wednesday 20 to Saturday 23. A musical production by beon. Entertainment, El tiempo entre costuras, el musical is directed by Federico Barrios Fierro and produced by Dario Regattieri, with a score composed by Iván Macías and texts by Félix Amador.
It tells the story of young seamstress Sira Quiroga, who leaves Madrid just a few months before the Spanish Civil War with a man she is in love with but barely knows. Suddenly abandoned by her lover and penniless in Tangier, Morocco, Sira embarks on an adventurous, fast-paced life that knows no borders and in which anything can happen: treason, danger and love again.
