Morimoto Sisters

On 3 December, the Guimerá Theatre will welcome Japanese sisters Satomi and Emiko Morimoto. The vocal duo includes Western and Oriental music in their repertoire, all of it performed superbly, courtesy of their amazing voices and piano virtuosity.

Emiko Morimoto (soprano) studied at the Tokyo College of Music. She won the third prize at the Asian Classical Music Concert in Tokyo in 2003. Satomi Morimoto (soprano, piano) has performed as a soloist with multiple orchestras and composed scores for films. In 2010, she won the UFI Award for Best Jazz Album.
