The International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC) is celebrating its four-decade history with a special programme, to unfold from 10 January to 9 February. First held in 1985, FIMC has welcomed in the Canary Islands most of the world’s greatest musicians – and a few music legends as well. Transforming the Canary Islands into a hub of classical music, this year FIMC will welcome eight world-class orchestras, renowned soloists and some of today’s leading conductors, to whom we should add special concerts and the section titled En Paralelo. On the whole, a full month to enjoy the best of classical music wherever you are in the Canary archipelago.
