40th FIMC: New Year’s Concert

As a prelude to the 40^th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC), the Tenerife Auditorium is hosting a special New Year’s Concert. The concert will be delivered by the Youth Orchestra of the Canary Islands (JOCAN), under the baton of Víctor Pablo Pérez.

As many as seventy young musicians will be coming on stage to perform the Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18 by Sergei Rachmaninoff with Russian pianist Nikolai Lugansky, and the Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
