40th FIMC: Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra

As part of the 40^th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC), on 10 January, the Tenerife Auditorium is hosting a concert by the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, from Norway. The orchestra will perform under the baton of English conductor Sir Andrew Frank Davis, with Russian pianist Alexandra Dovgan as a soloist.

The concert will open with Peer Gynt, Suite No. 1, by Edvard Grieg, followed by the Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16, also by Grieg. Finally, the orchestra will render the Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 43, by Jean Sibelius.
