Mamá Noelia – Antonia San Juan

On 7 January, the Teobaldo Power Auditorium in La Orotava will welcome actress Antonia San Juan, who is coming with her own version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Titled Mamá Noelia (the female version of Father Christmas in Spanish), the tale told by Antonia is not new. However, it is told in a new light, with a woman as the protagonist. Actors Yeyo Bayeyo and Santi Almeida help San Juan bring a wonderful Ms. Scrooge – based on Dickens’ cold-hearted, grumpy character – to life.
