18th Religious Music Festival of the Canary Islands – 2024

From 15 February to 17 March, the town of El Sauzal is hosting a new Religious Music Festival of the Canary Islands, organised by the local Town Hall. On 8 March, in the context of the festival, there will be a concert by Ainur Chamber Choir at the Church of San Pedro Apóstol in El Sauzal.

They will sing religious music a capella from three different periods: sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, nineteenth century, and twentieth century. The pieces were chosen to illustrate the characteristics of vocal music in each of the periods.
