17th MiradasDoc-Guía de Isora International Documentary Film Festival

From 15 to 22 March, the municipality of Guía de Isora is hosting the 17^th Guía de Isora International Documentary Film Festival, aka MiradasDoc. Every year, this prestigious festival gathers film critics and connoisseurs in a variety of film screenings, talks and lectures, training activities, pitch sessions, professional meetings and even a marketplace. The documentaries shown explore social, political, cultural, anthropological and environmental issues.

The MiradasDoc Market (20 to 22 March) is one of the leading documentary film markets in Spain, based in the Canary Islands. Special workshops and project pitching sections include DocSur, AfroLatam (Africa-Latin America Co-Production Forum) and AniDocs Sur (Laboratory for Animated Documentary Projects in Development).
