Grease, The Musical

One of the most popular musicals of all time is coming to the Guimerá Theatre in April, in the context of its 50^th anniversary tour (the show was first performed in Chicago in 1971). There will be performances on 4, 5 and 6 April. Directed by David Serrano, Grease, The Musical includes amazing dance numbers and the songs everybody knows.

An icon of twentieth-century pop culture, Grease is set in 1959 at the fictional Rydell High School in Northwest Chicago, following the lives of the students – their love affairs, car races and passion for rock and roll. In particular, it focuses on greaser (working-class youth) Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson, who develop an attraction for each other during a summer romance.
