Festival of the Hearts of Tejina

On the 25th of August 2024, Tejina will celebrate the traditional Festival of the Hearts in honour of its patron saint, San Bartolomé. 

The Hearts, structures decorated with beech branches, fruit and intricately decorated flat pastries, are created by the residents of El Pico, Calle Arriba and Calle Abajo, who compete with great enthusiasm to produce the best heart.
