Every 20th of January, Adeje enthusiastically celebrates the Pilgrimage of San Sebastián, one of the town's oldest traditions.
This unique pilgrimage sees riders on horseback accompany San Sebastián on his journey from the temple to the sea. On his arrival at the La Enramada beach, the crowds gather to watch the horses enter the water.
