The most eagerly awaited festival on the island is back! The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival will be held from the 31st of January to the 9th of March in the capital.
The carnival is renowned worldwide for its street band competitions, Carnival Queen, carnival troupes and costumes. You can enjoy the main parade, the daytime carnival, the curiously named closing ceremony called the “Burial of the Sardine”... And lots of other festivities!
