Don’t miss the exhibition “Freezing Time: Restored Objects from the Museums of Tenerife” from the 11th of February to the 10th of May at the Centro de Documentación de Canarias y América (Centre for Documentation from the Canary Islands and America) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The exhibition highlights, in particular, an unpublished manuscript by Juan Núñez de La Peña: a copy of Conquista de las Canarias (Conquest of the Canary Islands) by Fray Juan de Abreu Galindo, a piece of enormous historiographical and documentary value. It also reveals the technical, scientific and artistic processes behind conservation and restoration
