On 12th July, San Cristóbal de La Laguna celebrates the Pilgrimage of San Benito, one of the most iconic in the Canary Islands.
The pilgrimage will bring together thousands of people in traditional costume, along with decorated floats, folk music (Rondallas), and traditional songs. Food is handed out to the public along the route. This event has its roots in the celebration of the summer harvests.
