Procession of Saint Roch

Garachico holds the Procession of Saint Roch on the 16th of August.

The Saint Roch pilgrimage is the most important patron saint festival in Garachico, one of Tenerife’s best-preserved historic towns. Decorated carts, teams of oxen, traditional costumes and street bands wind their way through the streets of the historic centre, which has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site, in a festive atmosphere imbued with popular enthusiasm and Canarian tradition.
